Often described by others as “having a lot of energy,” Kaci was born strong willed, impatient, and ready to make sh*t happen.

Kaci has twenty years of proven experience across the non-profit, for-profit, and agency sectors, including at renowned art museums and Ivy League universities.

Overly excited and unable to wait until she graduated to start her career, Kaci began working in marketing at age 19 at the Stephen C. O’ Connell Center at the University of Florida in the Business Office promoting major events and learning the ropes as a Marketing Assistant until she graduated magna cum laude from the UF’s acclaimed College of Journalism and Communications with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and image management and an additional focus in business administration.

Kaci became connected to the power of writing, storytelling, creativity, music, fashion, and art at a very young age. She has moved at least 20 times and recently relocated from North Carolina to Austin, Texas; Kaci also spent a few years in New York, NY, where she worked at iN DEMAND Networks, MTV, and TAXI global advertising, and frequented art, music, and comedy venues.

Kaci sleeps better at night knowing that she is making a difference growing purpose-led brands. She has deep experience in digital marketing and website development, leading and developing teams, solving complex creative and analytical marketing and PR challenges, creating integrated omnichannel content, managing global campaigns, writing, editing, delivering brand impact, and increasing engagement, earned media value, and audience reach. She has also completed training and/or certifications in nonprofit leadership, social media management, and comedic improv, along with additional MBA education. Her marketing and communications client leadership background, projects, and campaigns include: global health nonprofit BrightFocus Foundation; Reynolda House Museum of American Art; Reynolda Gardens of Wake Forest University; Yale Center for British Art; Yale University School of Medicine in federally-funded stress research communications; national award-winning agency, Mullen Lowe Communications; CSX Corp.; the Wounded Warrior Project; and the Junior League.

Kaci currently serves as Fundraising Chair for the Young Women’s Alliance in Austin and volunteers with the Girls Empowerment Network. She is also a member of the Women’s Communicators of Austin and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and was involved with the sorority Chi Omega while at the University of Florida.

Kaci is married to an electric vehicle engineer and has two amazing children in elementary school. She enjoys frequenting museums and gardens; reading books and magazines; running; spinning; Pure Barre; traveling; volunteering in the community; applying face oils; obsessively researching wellness topics; and, of course, shopping. Dislikes include: being so cold she cannot feel her toes; neon green; and slimy fish.

“While working with Kaci at MullenLowe (and then later at Reynolda House after I chased her down), I was quick to realize she’s a creative person’s secret weapon. Not only did she always push us to bring unexpected creative solutions to the table, she was always in search of their higher calling. How can we capture the brand’s purpose in a creative way? What do they stand for? While still playing the perfect role of an account manager, in some sort of Jedi-mind trick fashion, she continually steered us to creative places that led to inspiring work that had both clients and creatives saying, “Wow. How did we end up here? We’re really good.”
